The Preview box will be very helpful to you as you are working with Citation. The Preview box formats bibliographic information as you type, letting you make certain you are entering information correctly, and giving you the option of copy citations immediately to your paper (for short papers and assignments).

To open the Preview box:

1. Click View, Preview box. The Preview box will display.
2. Click Style on the Preview box menu to display the Select Preview Style dialog.
3. Click the drop button, and scroll down the list of styles to select MLA (Footnote / Endnote) as the style for the Preview box, and then click OK.
4. The Preview box will display the record you have just entered in MLA footnote/endnote style:
