Data entry forms for different types of source works are essential to the way Citation works. The data entry forms look a little like notecards, and have fields that "prompt" you to enter the essential bibliographic information for that particular type of source work.

To enter data in Citation efficiently, of course, you need to use the appropriate forms for the type of source you are using.

The most typical forms used for entering bibliographic information are fairly self-evident:

• Article in a Journal
  
• Article in a Popular Periodical
  
• Book
  
• Chapter or Article in an Edited Book
