If a book written by one author has been edited by another, enter the name(s) of the editor(s) in the Editor field. Note that it is often the case that classics - or works originally written in longhand, often have a significant editorial contribution.

If the contribution of the editor is primary (or the primary contribution you are concerned with in your research project), or you are citing an edited anthology in its entirety, enter the name(s) of the editor(s) in the Author field, and include a role descriptor for the editor:
