The Short List View will be very helpful to you as you are working with Citation. showing you a kind of "index" of your datafile, that allows you to easily locate records you have already entered.

To open the Short List View:

Click View, Short List View to display an index of your datafile:

Take a few moments now to rearrange your desktop, moving the placement of Citation, the Preview box, the Short List View, and your word processor on your screen so that you can move easily between them.
